We Are We

The Cleanico Training Academy arm of the business has emerged as a result of the rapid growth of the business. In order to ensure quality services and a good knowledge of both products and services offered, training and development of employees is critical to the business. We place strong emphasis on training and all training courses are employer funded. Our facilities are fully equipped with training aids such as TV, overhead projectors, videos, cleaning machinery and equipment, chemicals and floor coverings. Cleanico uses both internal and external qualified, accredited trainers. All the courses have an evaluation element on completion, to ascertain that each candidate has adequately mastered the course. Training offered is at various qualification levels such as Certificate, Advanced Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Associate Degree. Wherever possible the training includes a work-based experience programme providing a real-life organisational context to allow staff an opportunity to apply learning and to illustrate competence before they fully undertake assignments or service provision.

Our on-site training also includes:
  • Monthly in-service training on housekeeping protocols and methods at all sites.
  • Periodical evaluations conducted by specialised roving skills trainers
